MyHSA is an investment oriented HSA

The first $200 that you contribute to your account go to cash, that is the “cash threshold”. Every dollar contributed after the cash threshold will automatically be invested. As a MyHSA account holder you have access to several top-tier funds to invest in. You can create a custom investment election from the funds or you may choose to invest in one of the five Asset Allocation Portfolios. If you do not make any investment elections then every dollar contributed after the cash threshold will default into the MetLife Guaranteed Fund

Easy access to your money

Getting access to the money you have invested to pay for qualified medical expenses has never been easier. With a MyHSA account you get a MasterCard debit card and on that card you will have access to 95% of the total account balance, including both investment and cash balances. With a MyHSA account it is not your responsibility to transfer money between investments and cash. Simply swipe your debit card, request a direct deposit or have a check mailed directly to you and MyHSA will do the rest.
